LOL… I wonder what they think when we are eating barbecued chicken?
it certainly makes you think – doesn’t it – thanks for reading 🙂
nice….
Thanks 🙂
I have to admit that reading this haiku has made me hungry
I don’t know if hungry was what I was going for – but I appreciate your reading it and that it made you feel/think something – thanks 🙂
Poor little worms : (
Nice haiku. : )
thank you for your comments – I appreciate it 🙂
I think the word “fat” adds an edge of comedy to this haiku. A lovely short read.
and I thank you for reading!
Glad to see you in.
fat worms, so visual and tickling.
smiles.
love your humor in Haiku.
Thank you – I appreciate all of your comments and support 🙂
1st moral of the story-don’t be fat!
2nd moral of the story-don’t be a worm!
Sorry, just joking, enjoyed your haiku very much.
I appreciate your finding morals – Thanks
I enjoyed reading this haiku, though I didn’t enjoy thinking about those poor worms!
Thanks for reading!
Oh my! It is all in the perspective, no? Love it!
Thank you very much
🙂 Lovely last line. Reminds me of the canny warmth of some of Sylvia Plath’s ‘mother’ poems – ‘sprats in a pickle jar’ and so on.
Thanks for sharing.
Wow – Thank you very much I appreciate it
Lovely haiku!
thanks for reading- I appreciate it
I can feel the analogy to something bigger. I like this cause I can make it mean anything…
Thank you so much – I had the ideas of predation, victimization and helplessness in my head and this was one form they took 🙂
Lovely haiku, so cute =)
Thanks for reading – I really appreciate it.
If they would stop wiggling down there–the birds wouldn’t hear them! That’s the way of nature though, isn’t it. Loved this haiku.
Nature most certainly strikes a hard balance – but I guess it makes you think -looking at it from a different perspective give you fresh eyes. Thanks for your comment, I am grateful.
this made me smile! very nice haiku ;]
Thanks for reading – glad it made you smile!
#laugh, very cute.
Thanks – glad it made you laugh 😉
I have often thought about the “Robin” particularly as being predatory .
Not because of what he eats but for how they eye there prey before hand.
There is always someone who thinks as you do.
