melted snow, spring rain

Mississippi overflows

flooded rivers crest

apple blossoms sway

fat carpenter bee wobbles

distant  windchime rings

It is an absolutely perfect Spring day!  It is making me think of a haiku on simplicity I recently read in the book, “Haiku Mind” by Patricia Donegan. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do – 🙂

this spring in my hut

there is nothing

there is everything
