Savage Haiku 
Nice little snapshot of your garden. Ours is still flourishing but beginning to see the wilt on the edges of the leaves. No beans, though. They don’t like high desert.
Thank you so much for reading and commenting – we are experiencing a drought- so our season is a bit short
that last bit captures well the pain of the drought this year…it has impacted so many and will continue on into the winter as we feel the pinch of loss of crops…

That haiku was my garden last year, and why I gave up–the heat has been a bane on us all. A lovely poem.
